If your company ceased to exist, what would customers say they miss?

We use this question when conducting market research for our clients as a means of identifying whether they are known for anything unique and what customers value most and least about the company. We challenge you to ask yourself this question to help identify the real value you offer the market place. How are you unique? What service or product does the market value most from you? Why do you matter? What do you do that no one else can provide?

Do you have answers for these questions? If you do, confirm them with your marketplace and determine if this reason is unique and can stay unique over the long haul.  Then leverage this point and position to it. To elevate your brand, make sure that your marketplace knows what makes you unique.
